The leading global network for women travelers is connecting volunteer hostesses with marchers in the 2019 #WomensWave Women’s Marches around the world.

BOSTON, MA (November 6, 2018) — Wanderful, the leading community by, for, and about women who travel, announced today that it is activating its network of tens of thousands of women globally to connect women traveling to the 2019 Women’s Marches with local hosts.

Wanderful has created a free service that pairs marchers needing a secure place to stay with trusted women who have extra bedrooms and space in their homes. Each guest and host will undergo a thorough video verification process.

“We believe it is our responsibility as women to help each other travel. Today, as the rights of women and the LGBTQ community are threatened in the US and around the world, it’s even more important,” Wanderful Founder and CEO Beth Santos said. “That’s why we’re activating our global network and helping women stay with other women for free during the Women’s Marches this January.”

Marchers interested in finding a free place to stay can go to the request form, and women interested in volunteering space in their homes can submit their listing on the host form. The Wanderful team will match hosts and guests based on important data points, including location, accessibility, available space, and more.

“If you need a place to stay, we’ve got you covered,” Santos said. “If you have extra room in your home, you can help us make sure no woman feels that she can’t march because she doesn’t have a place to stay.”
