“Food, Farm, and Fleece” was more than I could ever have hoped for. Chocolate, alpacas, stunning mountains, and fantastic people – I loved every minute of the trip. We cooked an amazing meal with Michelle, stumbled upon an indigenous solstice festival and were invited to participate, learned in depth about chocolate-making and alpaca-shearing, hiked around a crater lake, and had an incredible amount of fun. I would recommend this trip to anyone with a sense of adventure who is looking for a deeper experience than typical tourism.”

“The trip to Ecuador was authentic and amazing. I was so excited to experience it with my daughter and my expectations were superseded. My daughter and I shared shopping for organic local produce during our cooking class. We then turned those ingredients into a delicious dinner that we ate together as a group. We stayed with an Ecuadorian family who showed us the village and cooked family meals.  Shared a bonfire with our fellow female travel mates, saw big cities, small villages, rain forests, an organic chocolate farm (and tasted it product), and so much more.  Traveling with my daughter helped build my relationship with her. My daughter spent time with other ladies in the group, which she loved, but also time with me.”   -Peggy from Portland OR (Mother on right)

“Travel with my mom was amazing because it gave me a sense of independence when I wanted it but also allowed me to have the comfort of a friend whenever it was needed”. -Sarah from Portland OR (Daughter on left)
